New York Cosmos

With the recent rebirth of the legendary New York Cosmos, Umbro has signed on as the soccer club's official kit supplier and will be applying its celebrated football-tailoring ethos to a new on-field performance kit for Spring/Summer 2011. For a limited time only, The New York Cosmos are releasing their white home shirts early for eager fans.

The New York Cosmos were a manifestation of all things New York - aspiration, hard work, glamour and success and the team was never shy about making a statement on the pitch, in stellar performance and legendary style. Inspired by the kit worn in 1977 - a season that brought The New York Cosmos its 2nd NASL Championship along with Pele's last ever professional game - the influence and significance of this year can be seen in the new kit. This white tailored short-sleeved silhouette with a unique green and yellow collar is a classic aesthetic combined with modern performance benefits.

-Soft polyester with full-color embroidered New York Cosmos create on wearer's left chest, and green embroidered Umbro logo on wearer's right chest.
