Reed Space hosted its first ever t-shirt design contest featuring students from the Harlem Children's Zone. For two weeks, public viewers voted on their favorite student design on thereedspace.com.

We are pleased to announce our winner, Michael (Age 15), whose design received the highest number of votes. His t-shirt is now available for purchase and he will receive profits from the shirt as the grand prize.

Artist Statement:
"My shirt design is a cross with prayer hands. On one side you have a halo and wings and on the other side you have devil horns and a tail. Some people blame everything on God, like 'Oh, I fell, God tripped me, or Oh I won the lotto, God helped me.' No he didn't. God gives us the ultimate choices we make in life. This shirt represents both sides, good and evil."
