The Archive Research Project (A.R.P) is a groundbreaking collaboration between Umbro and award-winning designer Aitor Throup. It sets out to utilize Umbro's rich heritage and archive to offer up something very modern through research and design innovation.

A.R.P is the coming together of the past and the future; reinterpreting classic Umbro designs in a way that shatters the mold of previous construction methods. This is classic football tailoring for the 21st Century.

The classic 1960s Aztec jersey is primarily made of a heavier nylon mix fabric, which is extremely soft against the skin, whilst retaining the durability of the original. The underarm and shoulder articulation inserts are made from a lightweight, breathable and high-stretch fabric and allow for a higher range of motion whilst aiding in the cooling of the body.
